I'm Scott Townsend and I'm a life long Higgins Beacher. I have been fortunate enough to have vacationed at Higgins Beach every year of my life. After graduating from Nichols College in Massachusetts, I moved to Higgins Beach in 1996 and have been a year-round Scarborough resident ever since.
Luckily for me, my wife Sunny shares the same love of the beach and in 2000 we were married right on Higgins Beach at the end of Champion Street and had our reception at the Inn. We continue to enjoy the beach and you will often see us out for walks with our dogs, biking, paddling or just spending time with friends and family.

Our rentals manager, Ellen Jennison is an Associate Broker and Realtor® working diligently behind the scenes at our office. You will appreciate her personable nature and attentive service as she manages the daily operations and oversees all aspects of vacation rentals.
Kevin has been supporting our sales agents as the Marketing & Listing Coordinator for our Real Estate division for the last 4 years and after working part-time for our rentals division for the last few seasons, he has officially made the transition to a full-time member of our HigginsBeachMaine.com team! Kevin's knowledge & passion for the Higgins Beach area, attention to detail and innate problem-solving abilities, allow our clients and guests to rest easy knowing they are in good hands.
Kelly, a Scarborough native, first met Sunny Townsend when they worked together at a local travel agency. In 2014, Kelly took the leap into property management where she handled the administration and bookkeeping for over 600 apartments. Sunny & Kelly remained connected through the years, as a past client as well as through Kelly's sister Meghan McDonald, a member of our Real Estate team. Kelly enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing pool with her husband, throwing the frisbee for her dogs or crafting a one of a kind resin creation.
